Can you provide me the syllabus of MBA (IT) of IIIT (Indian Institute of Information Technology) as I want to check it before taking admission in the course?

Indian Institute of Information Technology or IIIT Entrance Exam is an MBA Entrance Exam taken by the Institute to provide admission to 2-years : MBA (IT) & MS (CLIS) Programs in IIIT Allahabad. The IIIT Allahabad MBA admission is based on CAT scores.

IIIT Allahabad MBA Syllabus

IIIT Technical & IT Aptitude :

Designed to measure aptitude for working with computers, this measures individual’s natural aptitude for computers and problem solving. It will measure ability in the following five areas : Recognition of similarities and differences, Syntax, Procedural Ability, Programming construct & Sequencing.

English & Verbal Ability :

Spotting Errors, Synonyms, Antonyms, Selecting Words, Spellings, Sentence Formation, Ordering of Words Sentence Correction, Sentence Improvement, Completing Statements, Ordering of Sentences, Paragraph Formation, Idioms, Phrases, Change of Voice, Change of Speech, Verbal Analogies.

Mathematical Aptitude :

Deal with questions involving arithmetic and algebraic problems, these problems will test the sharpness of your mind and insight in mathematical aptitude.

A consideration of weights to section viz contribution of marks to the merit as :

IIIT Entrance Exam Selection Process

Admission process for candidates of General and SC, ST, OBC, Category in MBA programme is as follows:-

1. Graduates with valid CAT Percentile score are only eligible for the concern. Those appearing in their final exams and expecting their results latest by 2nd Week of July of the respective year can also apply.

2. Admission is made strictly on the basis of Merit only, as per the following weightage:

Entrance Test 50%
CAT Score 30%
Group Discussion 10%
Interview 10%
