Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is an autonomous public business school which was established in the year 1963 and affiliated to UGC.

Eligibility

Applicants must have completed graduation from a recognized university and must have obtained 50% of marks in aggregate.

Admission Process :

On the basis of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Written Test, Group Discussion, Interview and Essay Writing.

Based on marks obtained in IIFT Written Test, applicants called for Essay Writing, Group Discussion and Interview to be held in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Lucknow and Mumbai.

Students opt for Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Guwahati, Indore, Jaipur, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam as centres for written test need to select one of the above specified centres for Essay Writing, GD and Interview.

Reservations will be as per Government of India’s Rules.

IIFT offers a diverse portfolio of long term management programmes in International Business - 2 years full time MBA (International Business) at New Delhi and Kolkata campuses; 3 year MBA (International Business) (Part-Time), New Delhi and Kolkata campuses; Executive Masters in International Business, New Delhi; Certificate Programme in Export Management, New Delhi.

IIFT Admission Criteria

IIFT Admission Criteria is a two step process - shortlisting criteria for GD-PI-WAT on the basis of IIFT entrance exam score and the Final admission selection Criteria based on performance in GD-PI-WAT, Academics, Work experience and IIFT MBA entrance exam scores.

IIFT Shortlisting Criteria

The first part of IIFT Admission criteria is the shortlisting criteria before final selection round.

IIFT shortlists the candidates on the basis of IIFT Entrance test scores for final selection round for MBA (IB).

The shortlisting by IIFT will be done for all the IIFT campuses located at Delhi and Kolkata
IIFT decides the minimum section wise and overall cut off in its entrance exam at the time of shortlisting.

If the candidate does not score minimum prescribed percentile in IIFT entrance exam, he/she is not considered for shortlisting for final selection stage.
