IGNOU Passing Marks out of 50
 

Can you tell me about the passing marks out of 50 marks question paper in any subject in IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University)?

The passing marks in IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) in any subject out of 100 are 35 in theory and for assignments have to score above 50% means out of 100 you should at least get 50 marks.

If got 35 in theory means one is pass in subject and don’t have to appear for exam again without assignments marks added one is pass. But if one gets below 50 in assignments one is failed in Assignments and need to submit assignments again.

The passing marks in IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) in any subject out of 50 are 18. If one gets 18 in theory means one is pass in subject one don’t have to appear for exam again without assignments marks added you are pass.

The Calculation Procedure for finding Percentage:

Its 30% weightage for Assignment and 70% weightage for TEE (Term-End Examination) exam for FST (Foundation Course in Science & Technology) and FHS (Foundation Course in Humanities and Social Sciences)

Example:
If you got in FST: Assignment marks=(88+88)/2=88 so weightage for assignment = 40% of 88=35

TEE marks= 42 so weightage for TEE= 70% of 42=29

So total marks you got is 35+29=64

Similarly for CS courses (without practical) weightage is 75% for TEE and 25% for Assignment.

CS courses with practicals (CS-611, CS-62, CS-63, CS-68, BCS-061 etc) weight age is 60% TEE, 15% practical Exam marks and 25% for Assignment.

Hello students, the passing marks out of 50 or 100 differs in case of Bachelor Degree and Master Degree.

In case of Bachelor degree courses, students need to obtain 17 or 18 out of 50 marks. Student having 17 marks will be considered as pass if he/she is having good marks in assignments. Otherwise, he/she has to obtain 18 marks out of 50 if the assignment marks are not good.

I want to know I got 34 out of 100 in Meg and 70 in assignment out of 100.. I m passed in theory or not

i am completed my ist year term end and enroll os 167300532 send me percentage of this year

no u r not passed. u should gain 35 marks atleast to get passed
