IGNOU MLIS Library Science Course Details

The Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) course is of a minimum 1-year duration and a maximum of 4 years duration.

There is no minimum or maximum age limit to pursue this course.

Minimum Duration: 1 Year
Maximum Duration: 4 Years
Course Fee: Rs. 6,000

Eligibility:

i) Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks ( 45% for students of SC/ST/OBC/PH category)

OR

ii) Bachelor’s degree with a Diploma ( one year) in Library Science

OR

iii) Bachelors Degree with two years of working experience in a Library & Information Centre
