School of Education (SOE) is one of the first schools to be established in IGNOU in this school academic activities carry out are:

Bachelor of Education (BEd)

Minimum Duration: 2 Years

Maximum Duration: 4 Years

Course Fee: Rs. 20,000

Minimum Age: No bar

Maximum Age: No bar


Eligibility:

1.Graduation or Post-Graduation Degree with fifty per cent marks

2. Experience :two years’ full time teaching on temporary/permanent basis

3. Reservation : The reservation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government relaxation of 5% marks .

4. Candidates who appeared in the qualifying examination (Bachelor/high
degree) and the result are awaited can also apply .

5.Age limit : no age bar for admission to the B.Ed programme.
