Would you please tell me about the difference between IES and IAS? I mean to say what the eligibility and age criteria for both exams are. Please provide me soon.

As per your request here I am providing you difference between IES and IAS. IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service Examination. This examination is only for engineering candidates. Union Public Service Commission conducts Engineering Service examination once in a year. By this exam recruitment is taken in following streams of engineering which have been given below-: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Eligibility-: The candidate should have a completed engineering degree and final year candidates of degree are eligible to apply. Age criteria-: Age should be between 21 years and 30 years. Pattern of IES exam-: Conventional Paper Objective Paper IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service Examination This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year. Eligibility-: To apply for this examination, the candidate needs to complete any graduate degree like Engineering, Arts and Science, Medical.... Etc any degree is eligible to apply for IAS examination. Age limit-: The candidate age should be between 21 years and 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination and Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories.
