Ok, there is no particular percentage required for this exam.
IES is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

IES Eligibility-

Degree in Engineering from a recognised University.
or
Degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time,
or
Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or
Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India;

Age Limit-

Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years.
Age Relaxation:
upper age limit of 30 years is relaxable upto 35 years in the case of Government Servants of certain categories.

Nationality-

A candidate must be either:

(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

IES 2015 Dates-

Date of Notification- 14.03.2015
Last date for receipt of applications:- 10.04.2015
Date of commencement of Examination:- 12.06.2015

IES Exam 2015 Pattern:-

Part I- General Ability Test 200 Marks.

Part I- Objective Paper I 200 Marks & Objective Paper II 200 Marks.

Part II- Conventional Paper I 200 Marks & Conventional Paper II 200 Marks.

Both Objective & Conventional Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering disciplines viz. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

Minimum qualifying marks has to be obtained in Objective type papers for checking conventional papers.

Part II- Personality test carrying a maximum of 200 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the basis of the written examination.

There is no percentage requirement for Indian Engineering Services Exam (IES), You need to have only pass engineering degree to sit in IES exam. Here, I am giving you eligibility criteria for IES exam so it will be clear to you.

Eligibility for IES

Education Qualification:

Applicants must have Engineering degree from recognized university.
Applicant must have passed a Graduate Membership examination of the institute of electronic and Telecommunication of India OR have a degree/ diploma in Engineering from such foreign institute/ university and under such condition as may be recognizable in the eye of Government for the purpose from time to time OR passed Associate Membership examination part II and III/ Sections A and B of the Aeronautical society of India OR passed graduate Membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959 are required to be in the eligibility criteria of IES 2014.

Nationality:
Applicants must be Indian Citizen or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or
A Tibetan refugee or
A person or candidate of Indian origin or equivalent

Age Criteria:

The age of the candidate should be between the 21 years to 30 years.
