I am thinking to give the exam of IES so will you please tell me what is the date of the IES exam of this session?

Indian Engineering Services is known as IES. These are the civil services that gather the technical and managerial functions of the Government of India. The Government of India recruits its civil servants and officials on the basis of merit.

Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) conducts a competitive examination for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services (IES) 2015. the exam will be in two parts which are written examination followed by an interview for personality test.

Examination Date And Schedule
Start Date for IES 2015 Registration: 22nd March 2015
Last Date for IES Registration 2015: 21st April 2015
Date of ESE IES 2015 Exam: 20th June 2015( 3 Days exam)

Age-limit: 21-30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination.

Application Fee

Rs. 200 for - General/OBC candidates is Rs. 200
No Application fee for - SC, ST, PH and female candidates

Candidates can make payment through online mode or offline mode.
Online Payment Mode: Credit Card, Debit Card and Internet Banking.
Offline Payment Mode: E-Challan through any branch of SBI (State Bank of India)

Admission Criteria
B.Tech/B.E or, passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India)
or
Degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution
Or
Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959
or
Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India;
or
Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India)

Date of Notification: 14 March, 2015
Last Date to Apply: 10 April, 2015
Date of Exam: 12 June, 2015 (3 days exam)

Eligibility
Must have graduation degree in Engineering from recognized university

Final year students can also appear in IES exam.

Age limit:
You need to be between 21 years to 30 years as on 1st January of the exam year. Age relaxations exist as per the government rules.

Section I consists of objective type questions
Section II comprises conventional papers.
