Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published notification for the recruitment of 44 vacancies by conducting Indian Economic Service (IES) exam , detail are as follows :

Name of the Posts:
Name of the Exam: Indian Economic Service & Indian Statistical Service Examination 2017
1. Indian Economic Service: 15 Posts
2. Indian Statistical Service: 29 Posts

Eligibility :
Applicants must possess Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics for Post 1, Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics for Post 2.

Age Limit:
Applicants age should be between 21-30 years

Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC & for others as per rules.


Selection Process:
Applicants will be selected based on Written Examination, Interview/ Personality Test.

Application Fee:
Applicants have to Pay Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by Cash or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. No Fee for Female/ SC/ ST/ PH Applicants .
