Admissions for Engineering Courses in IERT (Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology) Allahabad are done through the state-level Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) conducted by AKTU (Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow).

Eligibility Requirement


For admission to first year of B. Tech, one must have clearly passed intermediate exam of U.P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in each compulsory subjects and one optional subject and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.

One Passed Diploma (Engineering & Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is also eligible for B Tech


For admission to first year of B. Tech.(Agriculture), one must have clearly passed intermediate exam of U. P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in agricultural subjects and secured minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate. All Eligible candidates for B Tech First year are also eligible for B. Tech. Agriculture.


One eligible for admission in B. Tech Courses is also eligible for B. Tech (Agriculture Engineering) and B. Tech. (Biotechnology).
