IEG (Institute of Economic Growth) is an autonomous body under the Government of India, founded in 1958 by the renowned economist, V. K. R. V. Rao, for advanced research on economic and social development. It is situated on Malka Gunj road, at University of Delhi, New Delhi, India.

IEG (Institute of Economic Growth) has conducted a training programme for the probationary officers of the Indian Economic Service in techniques of economic analysis, policy analysis, and planning.
