IIT-JEE is the single gateway for admission to NITs, IIITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) as well as other engineering colleges and technology institutes run by the state governments and private institutions who have adopted JEE.

As you want to know about ICSE Board Cut Off for IIT JEE Exam in 2013 so here I am telling you that:

General: 419/500
OBC: 397
SC: 378
ST: 351

JEE Exam Pattern
JEE comprises of two papers:
Paper 1: For Engineering courses (Candidates can opt for a Online Test OR Offline Test)
Paper 2: For Architecture/Planning courses (Available only as Pen & Paper Based Test)
Paper 1: Computer based Test
• The Exam will be covering questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with equal weightage to all subjects.
• The candidates will have to opt for the correct response for each question out of four responses given.
• The exam will be for 3 hours in duration
• Each correct question will be allotted 4 marks
• Every wrong answer will result in deduction of 1/4 mark of the total marks
• Zero marks will be deducted for no answer
• Medium of paper will be in English, Hindi or Gujarati( for Gujarat candidates)

Paper 1: Pen and Paper Based Test
• The exam will be of 3 hours duration
• The Exam will be covering questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with equal weightage to all subjects.
• There will be multiple choice questions with one correct answer from a choice of four answers for each question.
• Every wrong answer will result in deduction of one mark due to negative marking of ¼ (one fourth) of the total marks.
• Zero marks will be deducted for no answer.

Paper 2:
• It is a Pen and Paper based Exam.
• It consists of 3 parts:
1. Mathematics
2. Aptitude Test
3. Drawing Test
