Workshop on Research Methodology and Opportunities in Traditional Medicine Research, 10th January 2007. (Co-organized with BMK Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belgaum )

The workshop was for the teachers, students and faculty members of BMK College of Ayurveda.

Research Areas
The lectures were arranged on various aspects like ethno medicine, taxonomy, survey methods and biostatistics. The opportunities in the field of traditional medicine were discussed in detail.

The features and utility of advanced software for documentationc and assessment of Ayurvedic principles called AYUSOFT was presented by Dr. Girish Tillu, CIDAC, Mumbai.

The workshop created awareness and motivated the students and faculty members to take up the research in traditional medicine.
