ICET Means

I am planning to apply for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) and searching for the exam details. Will you please tell what the ICET means and what this exam used for also tell qualification to apply also tell what the important dates to apply for exam?

APICET commonly known as Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test

AP ICET is monitored and administered by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education).

Qualification Criteria:

For MBA Course: Candidates seeking admission in this course must have passed the 3-year bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
For MCA Course: Aspirants who want to apply for this course must have completed bachelor degree with Mathematics or any other subject (Math studied at 10+2).
It is mandatory for all the aspirants to score minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination (45% in case of SC/ST).
Bachelor degree collected through distance mode must have recognition from joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.
Candidates who are appearing their final year examinations are also eligible to apply for AP ICET 2017.
To qualify AP ICET 2017, minimum 25% qualifying marks are required. No minimum qualifying marks are there for SC/ST candidates.

Application Fee

Details about the online registration fee of TSICET 2017 is mentioned below:

For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 350/-
For Other Candidates: Rs. 250/-

Important dates:

AP ICET 2017 Notification: First week of February
Online Application Form Commences from: First week of February
Last date for the submission of Online Application Form without late fee: First week of March
with late fee of Rs. 500/- + Reg fee: Third week of March
with late fee of Rs. 2000/- + Reg fee: Last week of March
with late fee of Rs. 5000/- + Reg fee: Last week of March
with late fee of Rs. 10,000/- + Reg fee: Second week of May
Correction in filled-in online application form: Third week of March
Downloading of Hall Tickets: Third week of April
APICET 2017 Examination: Third week of May
Release of Preliminary Key: Third week of May
Last date of receiving objections on Preliminary Key: Last week of May
Final Key and Rank Declaration: Last week of May
