The Indian Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the competitive exam at an all India level for the recruitment eligible candidates in all the Scheduled Commercial Banks of India. Reasoning (40-50 Marks) Tabulation Non Verbal Reasoning Data Sufficiency Analogy/ Venn Diagrams Syllogisms Decision Making Coded Inequalities Blood Relations Alphanumeric Series Coding- Decoding Assumptions/ Arguments Course of Action/ Inference Direction/ Alphabet Test Input Output Seating Arrangements 4. Computer Operations (20-40 Marks) History of Computers Networking: LAN (Local Area Network)/ WAN (Wide Area Network) Database Hardware Software Internet (Concept, History, Working Environment, Application) MS Windows –Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Number Systems Security Tools, Virus, Hacker Communication (Basic Introduction) 5. General Knowledge The General Knowledge section shall include all the topics of current affairs and general knowledge related to economic and social issues of India. The number of questions from a particular topic may vary. Note: The number given in Brackets are the number of questions usually asked in exam (based on previous year pattern).
