Full form of IAS is Indian Administrative Service. IAS is the administrative civil service of the Government of India.

For recruitment of IAS officers exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Indian Police Service (IPS)

Eligibility Criteria for IAS exam:

Graduation in any stream .

Candidate should be an Indian nationality

Age :21 to 32 years

Medical and Physically fit

Number of attempts:
For General:
4 times

For OBC:
7 times

For SC/ST:
Till 35 yrs of age
