The IAF Aerobatic Team is the aerobatic display team of the Israeli Air Force. The team flew the IAI Tzukit, a variant of the French Fouga Magister manufactured under license by Israel Aerospace Industries.

IAF Tzukit

Tzukit is multipurpose training aircraft developed by the Israeli company Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) on the basis of the license of the French aircraft Improved Fouga, developed by the French company Aerospatiale.

The aircraft is designed for flight training aviation pilots and the use of the Israeli Air Force as a light attack aircraft.

In the role of ground attack aircraft can be armed with two 7.62 mm machine gun Browning and four suspension units adapted to bear PU NUR containers.

The first flight of the prototype flew September 1980 and was transferred in May 1981 to test the Israeli Air Force.

After successful testing was ordered a small series of aircraft, the first of which was delivered to the Israeli Air Force in June 1983

Production of the aircraft was discontinued in 1986.
