The Board of Studies NSW was founded in 1990. it serve the education form K – 12 of government and non government schools. BOSTES was created by the NSW Government to sustain and improve the already high standards of achievement in NSW schools.

The Higher School Certificate (HSC) is the highest educational award in New South Wales schools. This certificate is awarded to the students who successfully pass year 11 and year 12. It is international certificate which provides entering tertiary study, vocational training or employment to students.
