HPU MBA entrance

Hello sir I want to know about the entrance exam details of MBA program of HPU so please provide me information about this exam.

The management program at HPU is offering specializations in three fields, namely Finance, Marketing, and Human Resource.

Programmes details

Master of Business Administration (M.B.A)

Duration-2 years in 4 sems

No. of seats-120 seats

Eligibility for MBA

Any first bachelor's degree of a university, established by law in India, at least with 50% marks(45% maks in the case of Scheduled Cast/ Scheduled Tribe candidate).

The students who are appearing for their final bachelor degree examination shall be allowed to appear in H.P. State Combined Management Aptitude Test (HP-CMAT).

Basis of Admission

The admission is based on competitive examination which comprises of applications ratings in following exams.

i. Management Aptitude Test (HPU-MAT) - 50 Marks

ii. Group Discussion - 10 Marks

iii. Personal Interview - 10 Marks

Composition of Test:

The HPU-MAT will have four sections:

a) English Comprehension & Language,

b) Numerical Ability & Data Interpretation,

c) General Intelligence & Critical Reasoning,

d) General Knowledge & Business Awareness

Each section will have about fifty (50) questions;

The performance in HPUMAT is the basis for screening the candidates for group discussion and personal interview
