The Himachal Pradesh University MBA admission is based on the HPU MAT exam . Himachal Pradesh University Business School directs the Management Aptitude Test for admission to MBA programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Applicants).

Students appearing in final year of qualifying examinations can also apply.

Selection Procedure :

Admission to MBA Programme is based on HPU-MAT , application rating, group discussion and personal interview.

HP University Business School, Himachal Pradesh is situated in the Himachal Pradesh University campus at Summerhill, Shimla.

It is the oldest business school of Himachal Pradesh established in 1971

Eligibility:

Academic Qualification:
Bachelor Degree of a University, established by Law in India, at least with 50% mark

Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 26 years for boys and 28 years for girls (29 years in case of SC/ST candidates both for boys and girls)

For admission in MBA you have to give HPU Management Aptitude Test (HPU-MAT) exam which is a objective type paper consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

The weightage assigned in computing merit is as follows:
i. Application Rating (10% of the percentage of marks obtained in each of the following examinations i.e. matriculation, 10+2 and graduation) - 30 Marks
ii. Management Aptitude Test (HPU-MAT) - 50 Marks
iii. Group Discussion - 10 Marks
iv. Personal Interview - 10 Marks
