In the General Awareness Section of Bank Exams questions will be aimed at checking the student’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to the society. Here I am giving you some tips which will be useful for you:

Prepare notes of important banking news, economy news and corporate affairs and revise them.

You should keep an eye on latest happenings

Read a daily newspaper to keep them updated with latest news.

Brush up the categories and the news everyday so that it is memorized by them.

Study from a recent general knowledge book and basic books on computers and marketing, focus on understanding the essentials.

Few good sources you must follow to succeed in general awareness are as listed below:-

News papers are the best source of new and updated info. So read newspapers daily. See some good news channels on T.V.

Read helpful magazines such as Pratiyogita darpan, Competition success etc.
Manorama year book is a very good source of latest current affairs. And also suggest you concentrate on this point, its helpful for your preparation of this section.
