MBA (Full-time)

Eligibility Criteria

3-year Bachelor Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines

The minimum percentage of marks required in different disciplines is as follows-:
Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
Sciences - 55%
Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00

OR
Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.

FMS MBA (Part-time)

There are several specializations in the programme. The maximum time a student can take to complete the course is 5 years and minimum is 3 years.

Eligibility

1) Students seeking admission should have passed a bachelor degree exam of at least 3 years duration with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

2) Students need to be sponsored by their employers

3) Students must have at least three years experience as an executive or an administrator in a commercial, industrial or government establishment after passing the Bachelor Degree Exam

Selection criterion

Students are invited through advertisements in major national newspapers in September/October every year.

Application forms are distributed on payment of the application fees.

Eligible Students will be called for a written test and/or an interview.

Faculty of Management Studies of Delhi University was Established in 1954 .

It is one of the Oldest B-Schools in India.

FMS Started of in the Premises of the Delhi School of Economics.

FMS Offers the Following Programs:

Master of Business Administration - MBA (Full Time)
Two year, Full time, Postgraduate management program

MBA - Executive (Evening Programme)

MBA - Executive Health Care Administration (Evening Programme)
Two year executive programs

Doctoral Programme
A full time Doctoral Programme Encouraging Original Research in Various Aspects of Management.


FMS Admission Procedure:

For MBA Full Time Programme

There are 2 Stages :

First you need to Appearing for the CAT Exam Conducted by the IIMs.

On Clearing the Required Cutoffs and the Composite Score, a Candidate is Called for the
Personal Interview (PI).

For MBA Executive (Evening)

Candidates will be short listed Based on their Application.

Short listed Candidates will be Called for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

The final selection will only be based on the profile of the candidate, quality of work experience, the WAT and PI.

:

For Doctoral Programme:

Candidates who are not Exempted from Admission Test are Required to take the CAT Exam.

Short Listed Candidates are Required to Submit their Registration forms to the Board of Research Studies (Management) at FMS.

The short listed Candidates are Required to appear for a Round of Personal Interview.
