How To Form An Ngo In India
Hello sir, we are 5 friends. We all want to open an NGO organisation. Can any one tell me for NGO how to form it in India? Please suggest me idea for to form an NGO in India?

NGO in India can be registered as trusts, societies, or a private limited non profit company, under section-25 companies. Non-profit organisations in India: Exist independently of the state; Are self-governed by a board of trustees or ‘managing committee’/ governing council, comprising individuals who generally serve in a fiduciary capacity; Produce benefits for others, generally outside the membership of the organisation; Are ‘non-profit-making’ The trust deed is the most important component of a public charitable trust and it should contain the aims and various management modes of the same The application form should contain the following details: Names of trustees Affidavit Registration fee (this varies from INR 3 to INR 25, based on the worth of the trust property) Court fee stamp worth 2 rupees Information on modes of succession Consent letter Some steps to form an NGO in India: Lay down the issues that your NGO wants to address, and identify the mission and vision. Before registering the organization, you need to have a governing body in place, that will be responsible for all activities and decisions of the organization. Every NGO in India is legally required to document a trust deed/ Memorandum of Understanding/Bylaws that contain the name and address of the NGO, mission and objectives, details of governing body members, human resource and staffing information, rules and regulations, administrative laws and procedures.
