NIT’s (National Institute of Technology) conducts a common entrance test Every Year for the students who want to take admission in MCA.

You can not download Admit Card of NIMCET because admit card availability date has gone……..

Important Dates

Publication of Advertisement in Press and Web: Wednesday, 11th February, 2015

Opening date for online login creation and submission of Online Application form was: Monday, 16th February, 2015 [10 a.m.]

Closing Date of Online Login Creation was: Monday, 6th April, 2015 (5.00 pm) IST

Last date for online submission of application was: Monday, 6th April, 2015 (11:59 pm) IST

Last date for receipt of printout of electronically filled application form along with requisite SBCollect eReceipt by speed post/Registered post Monday, 20th April,2015 [5 p.m.]

Date of Availability of Admit card on web for download was: Friday 8th May, 2015

Date and Time of Examination was: Sunday, 31st May, 2015 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 Noon [Reporting time 9.30 a.m.]

Date of Publication of Result (Tentative) was: Wednesday, 10th June, 2015

Counseling Dates was: Thursday 11th to Monday 15th June, 2015 [automatically locks by 5 p.m. on 15-6-2015]

First Round of Allotment was: Thursday 18th June, 2015

First round of Remote reporting in person Monday 22nd June, 2015 to Tuesday 23rd June, 2015

Second round of Allotment/upgradation Friday 26th June, 2015.

Second round of Remote reporting in person (fresh allotees must report. And allotees whose seats are upgraded need to report only if they wish to modify their option) Monday 29th June, 2015 to Tuesday 30th June, 2015.

Third round of allotment/upgradation Friday, 3rd July, 2015
Third round of reporting in person at the alloted institute Thursday, 9th July, 2015 to Friday 10th July, 2015.

Surrendering the allotted seats by those who do not wish to join the allotted institute, but wish to participate in final round of allotment. Monday 13th July, 2015 to Tuesday 14th July, 2015

Announcement of vacant seats Thrusday, 16th July, 2015

NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test) Admit Card 2020 will be released through online mode in the second week of May 2020. National Institute of Technology, Agartala organize the NIMCET exam.

It is a National level entrance exam to offer admission in the MCA courses at different NITs. It is conducted every year by one of the NITs on a rotational basis. On the basis of NIMCET rank, the admissions will be offered in NITs.


NIMCET 2020 Important Dates

Notification Release 1st week of March 2020
Release of Online Application 1st week of March 2020
Last date to fill online application Last week of March 2020
Last date of downloading the filled in application form 3rd week of April 2020
Availability of Admit Card 2nd week of May 2020
NIMCET 2020 Exam 4th week of May 2020
Release of Answer key 4th to last week of May 2020
Announcement of results 1st week of June 2020
Starting of counselling process 2nd week of June 2020


NIMCET Admit Card

One can download the admit card through online mode only. Admit card will not be sent to any candidate individually by post. One should keep the admit card till the admission process gets completed.

The duplicate admit card will not be considered to enter in the examination hall. One must verify the details printed on the admit card is same as provided at the time of filing the application form.

Duration of the Exam:
The duration of the exam is 2 hours.

Mode of the Exam:
The mode of the Exam is Offline mode.

There are Multiple Choice Based Questions (MCQs)

Total Number of Questions:
120 MCQs

Marking Scheme:
Each question carries 4 Marks. There is a negative marking of 1 Marks.
