Re: How to become a CID Officer after 12th non medical stream

You can not become a CID Officer after 12th non medical stream; you need to wait till the completion of your graduation after that you will be eligible for the CID officer exam. Criminal Investigation Department exam is conducted by SSC and candidates are selected on the basis of CGL exam. Here are the details of this exam:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have completed graduation with good academic record from any recognized university of India.

Age limit:
For General Category: 20 years to 27 year
OBC Category: 20 years to 30 years
SC/ST category:20 years to 32 years.

Exam Pattern

Tier 1 DURATION 2 HOURS MARKS
General Intelligence+Reasoning 50
General Awareness 50
Numerical Aptitute 50
English Comprehension 50
TOTAL 200

TIER 2 DURATION 4 HOURS MARKS
Arithmetical abilities(100 question, 2 hours) 200
English Language and Comprehension(200 question,2 hours) 200
TOTAL 400
Interview: 100 marks.
