As you want to know about Correspondence B.Ed from IGNOU, so here I am giving you information about it:

Bachelor of Education (BEd)
Minimum Duration: 2 Years
Maximum Duration: 4 Years
Course Fee: Rs. 20,000

Age Limit:
There is no bar of age limit in any age a candidate can do B.Ed from IGNOU.

Eligibility:
Candidate who has graduation or Post-Graduation Degree with fifty per cent marks can apply for B.Ed course from IGNOU.

The Osmania University is a public state university located in Hyderabad. This University was established in 1918. This is affiliated to the UGC.

You are asking for the Osmania University BEd Correspondence course admission details. This is as follows:

The Admission to B.Ed course will be based on the rank obtained in B.Ed (distance) entrance test. The last date for the entrance test and admission to B.Ed (Distance) was 02nd January 2015

Eligibility Criteria:

Osmania University will admit only those candidates who are presently working in schools located in the territorial jurisdiction assigned to it by the University

Admission Procedure

The admissions shall be made in the order of merit on the basis of the rank obtained in the B.Ed (distance mode) entrance test

The percentage of admissions into the five methodologies as per the rules in vogue is as follows:

a) Mathematics Methodology (MS): 01/25%

b) Physical Sciences Methodology (PS): 02/10%

c) Biological Science Methodology (BS): 03/20%

d) Social Studies Methodology (SS): 04/35%

e) English (EM): 05/10%

Important Dates for Osmania University B.Ed in Distance Mode

Last date for submitting the application is 02nd January 2015

The date of entrance test: 01st February 2015

Scheme of B.Ed. Entrance Test: The common entrance test will be of objective type with 100 multiple choice questions and of 90 minutes duration

Part-A

General English: 20 marks

Part-B

i) General Knowledge: 10 marks

ii) Teaching aptitude: 10 marks

(Part-A and Part-B is common for all the candidates irrespective of Methodology)

Part-C

Methodology: Candidate has to choose one of the following subjects and it consists of 60 questions for 60 marks

i) Mathematics: 60 marks

ii) Physical Sciences: 60 marks (Physics: 30 marks & Chemistry: 30 marks)

iii) Biological Sciences: 60 marks (Botany: 30 marks & Zoology: 30 marks)

iv) Social Studies: 60 marks (Geography: 20 marks, History: 20 marks, Civics: 10 marks & Economics: 10 marks)

v) Special English: 60 marks
