Hello sir I want to know How to appear for IAS Exam so here can you please tell me its selection criteria ?

Hey as The Indian Administrative Services is special as it works internally for the smooth functioning of law and order without any hindrance.

Age Limit:

Aspirants must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years

Age Relaxation

The Age relaxable for SC, ST’S candidates 5 years

Age relax able for OBC candidates 3 years

Age relax able for 3 years in case of defence services personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or disturbed area.

5 years Age relax able for Ex-service men


Aspirants must hold a Degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India
Number of Attempts:
Maximum of 6 attempts are allowed.
No restriction for SC, ST candidates
9 attempts are allowed for OBC,
Physically handicapped candidate belonging to the General Category.
Physical Standards:
Aspirants must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Civil Services Examination.
