Hindustan Institute of Technology & Management was established in 1999 and is an engineering college of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is affiliated to Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and part of SGI (Sharda Group of Institutions), the largest education group of North India.

Eligibility Requirement

B. Tech- I year
Rank in SEE-UPTU
Rank in IIT JEE (Main)
(10+2) with Physics & Maths and any one out of Chem./ Bio./Computer Science with 55% marks.
Note: for B. Tech.(Bio-Tech.), Physics & Chem. with either Maths or Bio with 55% marks is eligible.

B. Tech II year Direct Admission
Rank in SEE-UPTU
Diploma in Engg with 60% or B.Sc. (with maths) 60% marks.

Admission Process
75% of the seats are filled by the University through State Entrance Examination (SEE-UPTU) & 10% through JEE Counselling depending on the rank obtained by the student.
Counselling sessions for the same are called in major cities and announced in leading Newspapers. Balanced 15% seats are filled by the colleges through direct admissions as per UPTU guidelines. Admissions are strictly based on merit.
