Hey the HPCL Visakh Refinery is declared for modernization and expansion from the existing 8.33 MMTPA to 15 MMTPA

It was done under Visakh Refinery Modernization Project (VRMP) in assistance of fuel quality upgradation to BS-V.

Main Objective

It was done for a aim to minimize the below and increase the margins, the proposed configuration considers state-of-the-art bottom up-gradation unit.

The Environmental Clearance PDF File Opens in a new window for the project has been accorded by Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC) vide F.No. J-11011/63//2013/IA-IA II (I) dated February 11, 2016
