Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is an Indian state-owned aerospace and defence company based in Bangalore, Karnataka.

It is governed under the management of the Indian Ministry of Defence.

The government-owned corporation is primarily involved in the operations of the aerospace industry.
