Himachal Pradesh Common Management Aptitude Test or HP CMAT is conducted by the Himahcal Pradesh University Business School to provide admission to the aspirants in the MBA course of: HP University Business School HPU Regional Centre, Dharamshala HP CMAT Exam Syllabus ________________________________________ The three hour HP CMAT Entrance examination consists of four section (each of 50 questions) containing questions from the following topics • English Comprehension. • Reasoning. • Business Environment. • Arithmetic Comprehension & Data Interpretation. English comprehension syllabus: This section basically checks the understanding of candidates in English. Comprehension of passage (Poems can also come) Verbal Reasoning, Syllogisms, Contextual usage, Analogies, Antonyms, Fill In the Blanks, Jumbled paragraphs with 4 or 5 sentences, Jumbled paragraphs (6 sentences with first and last fixed), Sentence Correction, Foreign language words used in English, Sentence completion, Sentence correction, Odd man out, Idioms, One word substitution, Different usage of same word Reasoning syllabus: This section checks the reasoning capability of candidates. Calendars, Number and Letter Series, Clocks, Venn Diagrams, Cubes, Logical Connectives, Seating Arrangement, Syllogism, Logical Sequence, Binary Logic, Logical Matching Blood Relations Business environment: This section tests the candidates’ knowledge in business and checks whether the candidates know the basic concepts of business. Data Interpretation and Arithmetic Comprehension syllabus: This section is based on completely technical questions. The main motive of this section is to check the candidates’ knowledge in analysis of given data. HP CMAT Pattern HP CMAT is an objective type exam to be completed in three hour consisting of four section (each of 50 questions) from the following topics • English Comprehension. • Reasoning. • Business Environment. • Arithmetic Comprehension & Data Interpretation. |
