National Institute of Technology Patna is the 18th National Institute of Technology created by the Ministry of H.R.D. Government of India after rechristening the erstwhile Bihar College of Engineering (BCE) Patna on 28. 01. 2004

NIT Patna is expecting to surpass 83 percent placement record as more than 40 companies visited the campus this season with 243 jobs offers so far.

Among 366 students, who participated in the placement process, a total of 220 job offers were accepted.

Average annual package offered so far is Rs. 5.5 LPA and highest annual package offered at the campus so far is Rs. 15.25 LPA

A final-year student of National Institute of Technology, Patna, has made the institution proud by bagging a whopping Rs 44 lakh per annum package.
