The TIFR has Department of High Energy physics. The Department of High Energy physics of TIFR is engaged in pursuit of science through experiments which speculate about the origin, evolution and ulitmate fate of the universe using various techniques, both accelarator based and non-accelerator based. These two broad classifications describe the various research interests being pursued in this Department.
