Here i am providing the paper pattern of HCU MSc Mathematics Entrance Exam Syllabus for your idea.

Paper Pattern:
There are a maximum of two parts of the M.Sc (Math/Applied Math) Exam Papers A and B respectively.
The first part consists of 25 questions
Each question is of 1 mark and each wrong answer gets -1/4 marks deducted.
The 2nd part consists of 15 questions and Each question is of 5 marks and applicants are asked to attempt as much question as they can answer the maximum marks one can score is 75 from this section.
The maximum marks for Entrance Exam Paper are 100

Syllabus
The questions that are repeatedly asked from the M.Sc (Math/Applied Math) papers are Sets, determinants, linear transformations, graphs of functions, group theory, limits, rank, nullity, sequences and coordinate geometry of two and three dimensions etc. There are still few topics which are most covered by the candidates are series, eigen values, system of linear equations, integration, continuity, differentiation, vector spaces, matrices and elementary probability etc.

The University of Hyderabad is a public research university located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

As you want here I am giving bellow Hyderabad Central University (HCU) MSc Mathematics Entrance Exam Syllabus on your demand ;

The entrance examinations for admission to various courses are aimed at assessing the candidates understanding of the concepts rather than capacity for memorization.

Admission to M.Sc. (Maths/Applied Maths/Statistics-OR) is based on a written test followed by an interview. The written test consists of objective type questions only.

A majority of the questions for M.Sc Mathematics / Applied Mathematics will be on the following topics:

Elementary Probability - Events, Independent Events, Conditional Events, Bayes Theorem, Chebyshevs Inequality.
Random Variables and their Distributions Binomial, Poisson, Geometric, Negative Binomial, Uniform, Normal, Exponential, Gamma, Beta.
Estimation Methods of Moments and ML Estimation, Test for Mean and Variance of the normal distribution, Contingency Tables, Simple Linear Regression, Linear Programming Problem - Graphical Solution.
