Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers MCA course .

The duration of the course is 3 years .

Eligibility:
Aspirants who have Bachelor's Degree of a recognized University in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed Mathematics and English at least at the Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the CBSE or any other Examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

OR

Aspirants who have completed BCA/BIT/BIS of a recognized University of at least three years duration with at least 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

OR

Aspirants who have completed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Syllabus:

(i) Mathematics - (25%),

(ii) English Language & Comprehension-(25%),

(iii) Computer Awareness-(25%),

(iv) Logical and Analytical Ability-(25%)

Important dates:
Last date of submission of Online Application form for CET : 10th April 2014

Date & Day of Declaration of CET Result : 06.05.2014

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will arouse both the hearts and minds of scholars to empower them to have a say to the welfare of society at large; train them to adopt themselves to the changing needs of the economy as well as advocate them for cultural leadership to ensure peace, harmony and prosperity for all.

The eligibility for Master of Computer Applications ( Software Engineering ) has been explained below:

A Bachelor's Degree of a recognized University in any regulation with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed Mathematics and English ( core or elective or functional ) at least at the Senior School Certificate Examination ( Class XII ) of the CBSE or any other Examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
OR
A BCA / BIT / BIS of a recognized University of at least 3 years duration with at least 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
OR
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology or a qualification acknowledged as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Examination Pattern

The examination for M.C.A tests for Mathematical Logical and Analytical skills of the students. The test paper will contain 150 objective-type questions in all.
