GUJCET CBSE Quota

I have passed class 12th with Science stream from CBSE School. Now I will appear in GUJCET Exam. I want to know that is there any special quota for CBSE students in seat reservation for GUJCET Exam?

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test popularly known as GUJCET is State Level Exam conducted by Department of Education, Govt. Of Gujarat.

The Exam is conducted for admisison in Engineering, Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Courses.

As you want to know about special quota in seat reservation for CBSE students, so here I am providing complete information about eligibility and seat reservation of GUJCET Exam:

Eligibility Criteria
Students must have passed 10+2 from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary education board, Gandhinagar or by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi or by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi.

General category students must score at least 50% of aggregate in the 10+2

Reserved category students must score at least 45% of aggregate in the 10+2

Age Limit: Minimum age should be 17 Years

Subjects for BE / B.Tech: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
Subjects for MBBS / BDS / B.Pharma: Physics, Chemistry and Biology

Students of following Board are eligible to apply for GUJCET:
Gujarat State Board
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE),

Exam Pattern:
Subjects Marks Questions Duration
Physics 40 40
Chemistry 40 40 180 Min.
Mathematics / Biology 40 40
Total 120 120

Seat Reservation:
Management Seats:
25% of the sanctioned Seats in unaided Colleges or Institutions
The above mentioned quota also includes 15% for NRI seats

Seat Resevation Catse Wise
Scheduled Castes (SC): 7%
Scheduled Tribes (ST): 15%
Children of Defence Personnel and Ex-Servicemen: 1%
Physically disabled (PWD): 3% of seats in each category
Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, including Widows and Orphans of any caste: 27%
