Gujarat University is a state university in Ahmedabad, Gujarat India.

It is accredited B++ by NAAC.

It offers Ph.D. in the following disciplines

Eligibility:
Candidate must have obtained Master's Degree with at least 55% (SC/ST 50%) or equivalent grade in the subject from recognised

There shall be a common entrance test for all eligible candidates who are interested in pursuing Ph.D.

Those who qualify in the entrance test shall have to appear for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews (GDPI) at the specified University

Exam date:
The exam is generally conducted in the month of August

Candidates Qualified in SET/NET/JRF examinations of bodies such as CSIR/UGC/

Structure of the Test
General analytical skill/mental ability, including reasoning
ii. English communication skill (up to 12th standard level)
iii. Foundation of the relevant subjects in multiple choice questions
