Gujarat Teachers Eligibility Test (GTET) exam details are as given below:

The Government of Gujarat will conduct Gujarat Teachers Eligibility Test (GTET) also known as Gujarat TET.

Gujarat TET is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Gujarat.

Age limit

There is neither an age limit nor an attempt limit.

Qualifications
The Candidate must have passed graduation from one the Universities located in Gujarat.
Final year of graduation candidates are also eligible for the test.

Exam pattern

There will be objective type multiple choice based questions in the paper of 150 marks divided into 150 questions from the following main topics:

Paper I:
Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 Questions
Language I: 30 Questions
Language II: 30 Questions
Mathematics: 30 Questions
Environmental Studies: 30 Questions
Total Number of Questions: 150

Paper II:
Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 Questions
Language I (Compulsory): 30 Questions
Language II (Compulsory): 30 Questions
Mathematics and Science Teacher:
Mathematics: 60 Questions
Social Studies/Social Science: 60 Questions
