As you want to get the required age limit for TNPSC Group I exam, so here I am giving you eligibility criteria of this exam. Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit: Minimum age is 21 years. Maximum age is 30 years. Relaxation Age: For ST/SC Candidates: 5 years. Qualification: Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university. Syllabus for Preliminary Exam: General Knowledge The paper on general knowledge will include questions covering the following fields of knowledge: General science, current events of national and international importance , history and culture of India, geography, Indian polity, Indian economy, Indian national movement and freedom struggle, mental ability tests and other related fields. Questions on general science will cover general appreciation and understanding of science, including matters of every day observation and experience as may be expected of a well educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline. In history, emphasis will be on broad general understanding of the subject in its social, economic, political aspects; social and cultural heritage of India emphasizing unity in diversity. In geography, emphasis will be on geography of India including the physical, social, economic geography and on the main features of Indian agriculture and natural resources. Questions on Indian polity and economy will test knowledge on the country’s political, executive, judicial system, panchayat raj, rural and community development and economic planning in India. Questions on Indian national movement will relate to the nature and character of the nineteenth century resurgence, growth of nationalism and attainment of independence. General mental ability test will include analysis of classified data, logical and behavioral reasoning, analogies, school arithmetic, numerical ability and basic concepts of computers. Current events will include latest developments on all the fields detailed above including science and technology, History of Tamil Nadu its ancient culture and heritage of its people. Main Written Examination: Paper-I: 1. Modern history of India and Indian culture. 2. General Aptitude & Mental ability Test. 3. Role and impact of science and technology in the development of India and Tamil Nadu. Paper-II: 1. Indian polity and emerging political trends across the world affecting India and Geography of India. 2. Tamil Society, its culture and heritage/ English language skills. 3. Administration of Union and states with special reference to Tamil Nadu. Paper-III: 1. Current events of national and international importance. 2. Current economic trends: Indian economy and impact of global economy on India. 3. Socio economic problems of India/ Tamil Nadu. |

Hey buddy below I am giving you the TNPSC Examination Group Exams Required Age Limit There are total 3 groups Required Age Limit Group 1 The Candidate have Interested to apply for TNPSC Examination, then your age should between 21 to 30 years. The Upper age relaxation is applicable for Other Category Candidates.. The No Age relaxation for the General Category Candidates.. The relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates The Relaxation of 3 years for OBC Candidates The relaxation of 10 years for Physically Handicapped Candidates Group 2 Candidates Category Minimum Age Limit Maximum Age Limit SC / ST / MBC / Denotified 18 Years 35 years Communities /BC and Destitute Widows of all castes Others 18 Years 30 years Group 4 Category of Candidates Maximum Age Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), 35 Years Scheduled Tribes and Destitute Widows of all castes Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities., Backward Classes and 32 Years Backward Classes (Muslims) “Others” [ i.e Candidates not belonging to SCs, 30 Years SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ] For the persons who are trained in Survey in ITI in Tamil Nadu, 35 Year sin respect of posts of Field Surveyorand Draftsman only |
