Greater Reading Food Bank is a organisation. Its main aim is to feed the hungry by acquiring and distributing food to people. The Greater Berks Food Bank collects, purchases, stores, and distributes over seven million pounds of food annually to the more than 300 programs. Food supplied by the GBFB provides more than 1,300,000 meals annually at soup kitchens and shelters and an average of 23,000 individuals receive food monthly from the food pantries. Mission: The mission of the Greater Berks Food Bank is to feed the hungry by acquiring and distributing food to people in need.
