Times to Completion 4 Terms (1.4 years) Curriculum Options Full-time study Course-based Funding Details Western Financial Assistance Applicants (domestic and international) are encouraged to apply for the following scholarships: Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Admission Requirements 4 year Honours degree from an accredited university preferably in Economics, Business (Finance), Math, Science or Engineering. Achieved a minimum 78% average overall in the last two full-time years of the undergraduate degree. Additional Requirements Additional courses/tests may be required depending on an applicant's academic background. Test Requirements Graduate Record Examination (GRE) One needs to take the Graduate Record Examination General test and submit the scores. Applicants whose previous degree is not from a Canadian university are required to submit the GRE. A minimum GRE score of 150 (new scale) on the Quantitative component is required. Applicants whose first language is not English must furnish evidence of their proficiency in the use of the English language: The Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB). Minimum acceptable score is 80 on each section and an overall score of 85. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Minimum acceptable score is 550 for the paper and pencil version, 213 for the computer version, or 86 for the internet version with no individual score below 20. The Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL Assessment). Minimum acceptable score is 60. The International English Language Testing Service (IELTS).
