Re: Graduate Record Exam Preparation
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the United States. GRE Sections: Verbal Reasoning Quantitative Reasoning Analytical Writing About the GRE Subject Tests The GRE Subject Tests are achievement tests that measure your knowledge of a particular field of study. Each Subject Test is intended for students who have an undergraduate major or extensive background in one of these seven disciplines: Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology Biology Chemistry Literature in English Mathematics Physics Psychology GRE preparation tips: Start by creating a realistic schedule of daily work. Because the daily part is important, realistic probably translates to 15-20 minutes a day. Use only the official materials. Do the practice problems first, then do regular practice testing as the actual test date approaches. Do more practice problems for the content areas that seem to be surfacing the highest frequency of incorrect answers on your practice tests. Though there is no official vocabulary list, GRE prep requires studying vocabulary. Antonyms and analogies. Finally, just to underscore -- consistent, well-planned preparation is key. |
