Public Service Commission is the administering authority for conducting Gujarat State Civil Services examination in the state. The exam is of high standard and so detailed study of the subjects has to be made in order to successfully clear out the exam. Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) Class 1-2 Examination date was: Exam date: 12/10/2014 Exam Pattern There will be 2 set exam 1. Preliminary test Topics - general studies ( 150 marks ) One optional subject ( 200 marks ) Total marks - 350 You have to score 300 out of 350 to qualify for the next exam. 2. Main exam The topics will be subjective in nature. Topics - general studies Gujarati English Each topic will comprise of 200 marks. 3. Personality test Personality of the candidate will be tested Total marks – 100 How to Prepare 1. Study regularly for 8- 9 hrs. 2. Solve last year question papers. 3.
