A candidate with B.Tech degree in Mechanical can apply for different jobs with the UPSC, Indian Forest Services, the State Service Commission, Post and Telegraphs, Indian Railways, Public Sector Banks, PWD, Chemical firms etc. One can also apply for jobs with the Indian Army, Indian Air Force etc. Another option for candidates is to pursue a career in the field of education. In the government sector there are many job profiles like Assistant Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers, Superintendent Engineers, Junior Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (Diesel/ Mechanical), Lab Assistant Gr.
