Government School Teaching Job Age Limit or Is B.Ed Neccesary
Will you please provide me the age limit of Government School Teaching Job, and is B.Ed Neccesary for the KV school job or not ?

For Government School Teaching Job, a candidate must have minimum 19 years age. And maximum 45 years age. For doing job in KV school candidate need B.ed degree for PGT and for TGT there is no need to have B.Ed degree. Eligibility for PGT: Candidate must have masters degree from recognized university with minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in related subject. Candidate must have B.Ed or equivalent degree from recognized university. Proficiency in teaching languages of hindi and english. Desirable Qualification:- Knowledge of computer applications. Upper Age Limit:- 45 years KVS PGT Exam Paper Pattern: For the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs): Part I It will consist of 40 multiple choice questions in English and Hindi subjects carrying 20 marks each (total 40 marks). Part II It will consist of 160 multiple type questions of one mark form these sections: Current Affairs (20) Reasoning and Numerical Ability (20) Teaching Methodology (20) Concerned subject (100) Duration: The test will be of three hours duration. Part II This test will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part I securing 5 marks each in English & Hindi subjects and 13 marks in aggregate in English and Hindi. Selection: Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in written test and interview. |
