Re: GMAT Study Calendar
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test (CAT) conducts to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA Study calendar for GMAT: Week 1 – 4: Learn those pesky formulae, internalize those unique results, annoy your friends with some arcane idioms and start correcting their sentences. Take a practice exam to analyse your strengths and weaknesses. Most importantly, get adjusted to a study schedule, which you follow religiously. Week 5 – 8: It’s time to look inward. Get a realistic understanding of what your strengths or weaknesses are – Critical Reasoning, Sentence Correction, RCs, Quant and so on. Spend time to master necessary skills and use them to your advantage. This period is all about practicing concepts learned in the previous four weeks. Address your weaknesses and reinforce your strengths; rotate concepts every couple of days. Focus on different levels of questions – easy to hard. Take at least 2 practice tests and start building strategies. Get professional help to work on problem areas. Week 9 – 12 With four weeks left, it’s time to step on the accelerator and focus on test-day. Continue practicing problems and do not stay away from concepts for too long. Remember, quality over quantity – do not do a ton of problems just to please yourself, but learn from each problem. Finish your tests in time! Solve tougher questions and master concepts. Do not ignore Analytical Writing Assessment essays. Practice your test-day strategy to perfection (translated- finish your tests in time!) Prepare yourself mentally – GMAT is a four-hour marathon. |
