GAT(PGT) is an online admission test that is conducted by the GITAM University for providing admission in MTECH course at university.

Eligibility criteria for GAT(PGT):

For M.Tech. Program in CST
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in any branch of Engineering or its equivalent

For M.Tech. Program in SE
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in CSE / IT / ECE / EEE / EI / CSIT or its equivalent


For M.Tech. Program in IT
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in any branch of Engineering or its equivalent

For M.Tech. Program in RF & ME
Candidate should have B.E./B/Tech./AMIE in ECE or its equivalent

For M.Tech. Program in VLSI Design
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in ECE / EEE / EIE / Instrumentation / CSE / IT or its equivalent


For M.Tech. Program in DSSP
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in ECE / EEE / EIE / CSE / IT or its equivalent

For M.Tech. Program in EBS
B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in ECE / EEE / EIE / Instrumentation / CSE / IT or its equivalent

For M.Tech. Program in EI
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in ECE / EEE / EIE / Instrumentation or its equivalent


For M.Tech. Program in SE & NDM
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Civil Engineering or its equivalent


For M.Tech. Program in PS&A
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in EEE or its equivalent


For M.Tech. Program in MD
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Mechanical/Production /Automobile /Marine /Aerospace or its equivalent

For M.Tech. Program in CAD/CAM
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Mechanical/Production /Automobile /Marine / Aerospace or its equivalent.


For M.Tech. Program in IE&M
Candidate should have Any Engineering Degree or its equivalent


For M.Tech. Program in Biotechnology
Candidate should have B.Tech. in Biotechnology or B.Pharm or equivalent or B.Tech. Chemical Engineering or M.Sc.in Chemistry /Microbiology / Bioinformatics / Biotechnology) with proficiency in basic Biology with proficiency in basic Mathematics.


For M.Tech. Program in FPT
Candidate should have B.Tech. Bio-Technology/Food Technology/Chemical Engineering/B.Pharmacy and M.Sc. in Chemistry / Food Science with Proficiency in Basic Biology and Biotechnology or MSC in any area of Biological Science with Proficiency in Basic Mathematics.
