GRE Stands for Graduate Record Examination ,

GRE exam is a Standardized test That is an Admissions Requirement for Most Graduate Schools in the United States .

It was Created and Administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 1949,

The Structure of the Computer-Based GRE Revised General Test Consists of five Sections

Here's a look at Content Covered in the Three Test Sections :
Verbal Reasoning,
Quantitative Reasoning
Analytical Writing

Duration
3 hours and 45 minutes

Score / Grade Validity 5 years

Verbal Reasoning

Candidates Can take the Computer-Delivered GRE Revised General Test Once Every 21 Days, up to Five Times within any Continuous Rolling 12-month period (365 days).

Verbal Reasoning:

Measures your ability to analyze and evaluate written material and synthesize information obtained from it, analyze relationships among component parts of sentences and recognize relationships among words and concepts.

Quantitative Reasoning:

Measures problem-solving ability using basic concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and data analysis.

Analytical Writing:

Measures critical thinking and analytical writing skills, specifically your ability to articulate and support complex ideas clearly and effectively.
