Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should belong to Goa state, having valid domicile of Goa.

The candidates must have passed/appearing class 12th or equivalent having English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology/Biotechnology as the subjects.

For MBBS/BDS courses the candidate should have competed the age of 17 years age as on or before 31st December of the academic year.

For Engineering and Architecture courses there is no age limit for admission in these courses.

Goa CET 2016 Important Dates

Events Dates

Exam date of Goa CET were announced on 30 November 2016
Online prospectus was issue on 31 January 2016
Application form (Form-A) will be issued on 28 March 2016
The last date to submit application form at Application Reception Centre and collection of admit cards 2 April 2016
The last date for receiving of GCET-2016 (Form A) at DTE and collecting admit cards (with late fees) 29 April 2016
Goa CET 2016 will be held on:
Physics and Chemistry Paper 10 May 2016
Mathematics and Biology Paper 11 May 2016
Deceleration of result (Tentative) 16 May 2016
Application Form- B for admission will be issued on 19 May 2016
The last date to submit Application Form- B 27 May 2016
Display of Eligibility List at Admission Center 7 June 2016
The last date for compliance of deficiencies in eligibility 9 June 2016
Provisional merit list will be displayed at the admission center 13 June 2016
Final merit list will be issued on 15 June 2016
First round of admission 16 – 24 June 2016
Second round of admission 18 – 21 July 2016
Extra round of admission (if applicable) Will be announced if required
Special round of admission, if seats are vacant will be held on 30 September 2016
