I want to know about the Gujarat Common Entrance Test for Admission in MBA so please can you give me the date of test and provide me the syllabus for this entrance and give me the question papers for the entrance of MBA?

Gujarat Common Entrance Test is conducted by Universities in Gujarat State. Here I am giving the detail of Gujarat Common Entrance Test are below
Eligibility:-
1. Candidate should be graduated from a University recognised and situated in Gujarat State.
2. Candidate those are graduated in a 3-year course from University outside Gujarat State but have passed XII school place in Gujarat State
3. Final year student can appear in it.

Selection mode:-
(a) Written test
(b) Group discussion
(c) Personal interview

Written test Duration:-
There are 3 hours and 250 question objective nature and there will be negative marking of 25% of the marks allotted to the question for wrong answer.

Gujarat Common Entrance Test is an Annual Common Entrance Exam It is Conducted by Gujarat Technological University for MBA Studies .

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate’s age must be 17 years for the applying for the examination .

A candidate shall have appeared in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET).

To appear in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET), a candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination (a degree in any discipline) with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates) from:

A University situated in the Gujarat State OR

A University situated out side the Gujarat State provided the candidate shall have passed the Higher

Secondary School Certificate Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) .

A candidate who has appeared in final year of Bachelor’s Degree examination shall also be eligible to appear in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) provided that he shall have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks (45% marks in case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates) at the time of admission.

Last date of applications & collecting admit cards
April 2016

10 and 11th May, 2016

Result date
1st week of June 2016

Submission of application form for admission (Form B) & with necessary enclosures – 2nd week of May, 2016.

First round of admission
June, 2016

Second round of admission
July, 2016


Exam pattern:

The written test comprises of six sections.

Quantitative Ability
Reasoning
Data Interpretation
Reading Comprehension
Verbal Ability
General Knowledge.

The application fee for all the candidates is Rs 250.
